Absolutely! We don't believe you should suffer unnecessarily - most of our artists are more than happy to guide you through the process of using numbing cream (the only exception would be our apprentices who don't have enough experience to tattoo with numbing cream yet!). All we ask is that you only use ZENSA numbing cream, and that you notify your artists beforehand that you will be using numbing cream. 

Why do we insist on only using ZENSA numbing cream? We've tested many brands of numbing cream and lots of them can contain unknown ingredients, can alter the skin texture, and cause a sticky residue on the skin causing it to be very difficult to tattoo properly. We find this does not happen when we use ZENSA. Sometimes tattoos can heal weird with different numbing cream brands as well, but not with ZENSA. We only want to produce the best piece of art for you, so we ask that you respect our choice in numbing cream usage!

Unfortunately we do not sell ZENSA numbing cream at the studio, but it can be purchased at over the counter drug stores like Shoppers, or pharmacy at Walmart as well as amazon. 

We take walk-ins Mondays to Fridays 11am-4pm based on artist availability. Usually we'll have at least one artist available at all times to accept walk-ins but sometimes schedules change. You can always send us a quick DM on Instagram to double check that we'll be available during the time you want to come in!

We can take flash, or custom designs for walk-ins. You're also welcome to stop by and chat with one of our artists if you have any questions, or come in to schedule your next appointment!

Each artist sets their own rate so the cost of your walk-in tattoo will depend on which artist ends up doing your piece! If you have a specific budget in mind, let us know! We'll make sure to match you with an artist with your budget :)

Absolutely! Please feel free to bring an emotional support person to your appointment with you. Unfortunately we can't accommodate a whole room full of people, but 1 or 2 is 100% okay with us. We have a waiting area with a couch at the front, or (if the studio is not to busy) they can pull up a stool beside you! We have free wifi :)

Of course! Please feel free to bring food or drinks to your appointment! We also offer free snacks and juice boxes if you forget so no need to fret!

We accept cash or debit! Unfortunately we don't carry a cash float so please make sure you have enough cash to pay for your tattoo if that's your choice of payment/1 There is a TD and a RBC down the street from us if you need to withdraw any cash.

There is paid street parking in-front and to both sides of the studio. This is through the city of calgary and costs $1.50/hr. There is also a paid underground parking lot underneath the Lido building that costs $4/hr up to a max of $12/day. If you're down for a little stroll, you can also find free parking in the residential area behind the studio!
